Project Description

Milhoi City is a green high-end 1,674 hectare, US $ 8.6 billion project to be established on the prime mainland of Lamu County in the Northern Coast of Kenya, East Africa.  The City is a private sector response to the major infrastructural developments spearheaded by the Governments of Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia in the form of Lamu Port, South Sudan, Ethiopia Transport (LAPSSET) corridor.  The corridor will provide a gateway to over 250 million people in the rich hinterland of Africa, stretching all the way to the Atlantic Port of Doula in Cameroon in what is now being referred to as the Great Equitorial Land Bridge.  With its size and free-port status, this 32 berth Lamu Sea port is destined to become the busiest seaport in Africa in the next few decades.

Milhoi City will compliment the LAPSSET corridor project by providing such facilities as homes, recreational centers, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals and well-ness centers among an array of other exciting investment opportunities.  This Green City of Africa will meet the needs and desires of the cosmopolitan person who has an eye for leisure, comfort and healthy living.  Milhoi City is strategically positioned between the Lamu Sea-Port (already under construction) and the proposed Lamu International Airport - a 20 minutes drive either way and boasts of warm and pleasant weather throughout the year.

Milhoi City is a project of the Lamu Tourism, Golf and Leisure Resort (Lagler) City Ltd and the Lamu Two Thousand Ltd.
